Hi there!

First off, thank you for taking the time to get to know me and what I do. My name is Cheyenne Adams and I am the owner and lead coordinator here at Ever After Moments. If you call or email us I will be the person speaking with you directly and answering all of your awesome questions.

Secondly, I’d like to tell you a bit about me and how all of this came about…I was born and raised here on Oahu. I come from a family of faith based farmers here on the east side of the island. Yes, that is correct, we are farmers. Definitely not a kind of job that you would relate to wedding planning but it indeed has helped me get where I am today. I have been a part of entrepreneurship since I was very young and always dreamed of becoming a wedding dress designer. However, after making my prom dresses throughout high school, I soon realized how my expenses would quickly exceed my actual profit. Yet, the dress is still my favorite part though! More than cake and more than that emotional first dance moment. Anyways, I am a wife and a mother to an amazing soon to be two year old. Talk about keeping busy! But I wouldn’t imagine it any other way.

Let’s talk about my journey in becoming a wedding planner. About five years ago I met my husband and we got married two years later. I had a background in planning and coordinating events but nothing like a wedding. I knew exactly what I wanted! But I didn't hire a wedding planner, I mean, it wasn’t even an option in my mind. Definitely something I’d recommend to myself if I could go back and give myself some advice. We did everything ourselves. From setting up the tables and linens to making all of the floral and decor. It was crazy and I was overworking myself on my wedding day. I ended up being late to my own ceremony because I had to finish last minute touches for the reception. I was beyond emotional at this point but all of that led me here.

That was the moment I decided that there was no way that people could do this on their own. I got my business license and here we are today. It’s been three years since and I have had the opportunity to help many couples orchestrate their lovely weddings. What started out as a hobby has transformed into an amazing business. On top of coordinating weddings all over Oahu, I have also had the opportunity to travel to various neighboring islands as well as venturing over to the Mainland to coordinate destination weddings also. It has been a blast! I have learned so much over the years and I allow myself to learn something new everyday so that I can grow as a person as well as expanding this business further and further.
